Quick answers

Phantom Blade Zero FAQ

What is Phantom Blade Zero?

Phantom Blade Zero is S-GAME’s single-player wuxia action RPG. You play as Soul, a swordsman caught in a conspiracy, in a world that combines martial arts, dark fantasy and folk horror.

Which platforms can I play on?

The confirmed release platforms are PlayStation 5 and PC. The official site links to PlayStation, Steam and the Epic Games Store; an Xbox release date is not confirmed in the reviewed sources.

Is there a difficulty setting?

Yes. Wayfarer, Pathbreaker and Hellwalker offer different levels of challenge. The separate 66 Days mode adds a limited-death challenge; it is not a real-time countdown imposed on your first playthrough.

Do enemies respawn when I rest?

Ordinary defeated enemies do not return simply because you rest at a Bell in the unmodified game. Scripted encounters and PC mods can behave differently, so a modded video may not show the standard rules.

Can I miss quests or equipment?

Yes. Complete the early Outpost and Thieves’ Camp quests before defeating Bai Chilian. Later decisions, including how you handle Red, can also affect rewards; use the missables guide before advancing.

Where should I start if a boss feels too hard?

Check your weapon upgrades and medicine, then learn the boss’s blue and red attack cues. Weapon switching restores Sha-Chi, and equipment changes can make a bigger difference than repeatedly trying the same approach.

Are the numbers on this wiki live?

No. Release and review data shown here use the November 5, 2026 source snapshot. Individual guides link to the sources they use, and the patch page distinguishes official changes from player reports.
